AES Autonome Energiesysteme GmbH is a GreenTech company transforming how industrial plastic waste is recycled. Based in Merzenich, Germany, we develop and operate decentralized pyrolysis plants that convert mixed post-industrial plastics into high-value circular oil. This oil serves as a sustainable feedstock for producing new, virgin-quality plastics - enabling our partners to meet both regulatory and climate goals. At the heart of our solution lies the proprietary FLUKS technology, designed for maximum flexibility, modularity, and scalability. Unlike large-scale centralized competitors, AES places compact recycling units directly at industrial waste sources. This approach eliminates unnecessary transport, avoids contamination from mixed consumer streams, and significantly reduces CO₂ emissions. Each plant generates its own energy through integrated gas recovery, ensuring high resource efficiency. AES addresses a critical gap in the recycling market: the handling of low-grade, mixed PP/PE plastic waste that is often incinerated. We turn these materials into a revenue-generating resource. Our business model combines oil sales to chemical companies and refineries with waste processing contracts, resulting in a profitable and scalable platform.
