Alginor seeks towards a green and sustainable future based on treasures from the sea. We focus on total utilisation of seaweeds for production of unique, pure and formula-specific products. Through green, environmentally friendly and resource efficient operations Alginor sets the standard for tomorrow’s innovative solutions. Alginor ASA was established 24th of March 2014 in Haugesund, Norway to develop a technology for total utilisation of seaweeds to be integrated in a multifunctional biorefinery for seaweeds. We plan to establish the first biorefinery in Norway that focuses on total utilisation of seaweeds and extracting pure and formula-specific products for application areas such as food, feed, pharma, agri, chemicals and materials.
