GranBio is a pioneer in second-generation ethanol (2GE). Its proven technology uses a wide range of biomass - including forest, agricultural, construction, and sugarcane residues - to help decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors and revitalize rural economies.  The company operates a plant in Brazil and a pilot plant in its state-of-the-art R&D center in the U.S. It has received support from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for building a small-scale commercial plant that will produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), along with other biofuels.
