We are a Chilean science and technology start-up dedicated to recycling and recovering cigarette butts. We have developed a technology that is unique in the world, an efficient and sustainable chemical process that removes all toxic substances from cigarette butts and recovers cellulose acetate, the plastic material used to make the filter. The recovered cellulose acetate is transformed into a new sustainable and recyclable material for industry, called CELION.
