Greenhope is a material innovation technology social enterprise with the mission to catalyze the society’s shift towards sustainable consumption and production. We dream of a prosperous people and flourishing planet without harmful plastics. We research, develop, and produce our own patented, certified and market proven technologies that are renewably sourced with lower carbon footprint and better end-of-life behavior through safe biodegradation: Oxium (biodegradable additive), Ecoplas (cassava-based biodegradable bioplastic), and Naturloop (cassava-based home compostable bioplastic). We partner with brands, governments, and institutions globally to co-create better-for-environment garbage bags, seedling bags, shopping bags, food trays, utensils, food and non-food packaging, to-date >40 applications. Our technologies are suitable for items that are too small, contaminated, multi-layered, neither reusable nor economically viable to recycle, complementing the 3R approaching by reducing problematic and polluting plastic. Our cassava bioplastic (Ecoplas and Naturloop) is sourced from farmers cooperatives under fair trade scheme, ensuring higher income and positive impact (capacity building, better equipment etc.) for the farmers and communities. Our technologies are certified by international standards on Home and Industrial Compostable, Bio-Based, as well as Biodegradable.
